Low lung or anjaneyasana
This stand pose stretches the quads of the kneeling leg while strengthening the opposite leg and hip. It is a good beginner pose. From standing in mountain pose step one foot back and lower knee to the ground or from downward facing dog step foot forward. Bring forward knee over the ankle inhale to bring hands to the knees or overhead and exhale to root tailbone towards the floor. Top of the back foot is on the ground.
