It was a surprisingly short walk from the station to Clover Spa itself. I walked up, not really knowing what to expect, I knocked on the front door like it was someone’s house, to ask if a friend could come out and play when I could have just walked straight in. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. They could clearly tell I was new and it was my first time to an event like this. They told me exactly how things worked and even mapped out where everything was. I was given a towel and left to undress as much as I was comfortable to and walk in to meet everyone when I was ready. Being very much an all-or-nothing person I completely undressed and walked straight into the room of other Naturists. Being alone, completely naked and walking into a room full of other naked strangers is a bit like jumping out of an aeroplane without a parachute but hopping some stranger will catch you safely on the ground. The stranger who caught me was Simon, a YBN team member. As soon as I walked into the room he made eye contact, smiled, and came over to say hello and welcome me. Instantly feeling like I had a friend he made me feel at ease and introduce me to a few other people. I was warmly welcomed by all. .
