For the official start of our clothes free kitchen features I have a simple quick and easy offering using one of my favorite super foods sweet potato.
Sweet Potato Fries
- 2 medium to large sweet potatoes
- 2 tablespoons coconut oil
Prepare the potatoes by rinsing and peeling. Then slice potatoes in to fries using knife or potato slicer. Cut to slices a quarter inch thick and inch long. Heat coconut oil in medium frying pan or skillet and place potatoes in the pan. Watch the heat in the pan lowering as needed so as not to burn. Cook fries until tender throughout. Remove from pan using slotted spatula and place on paper towel to drain any extra oil. Season with sea salt garlic salt or your favorite fries condiment for a healthy snack or side dish in a meal.
