Word from the AANR office today about the major hail storm that ripped through the Poinciana area of Kissimmee, Florida this weekend damaging Cypress Cove Nudist Resort & Spa. Fortunately, no one was hurt during the storm, but major damage was done to the resort, especially in the residential and RV areas. Owner Ted Hadley, general manager Peter Sewell, and their crew worked through the storm to keep everyone safe and throughout Saturday night to remain operational. Strong winds damaged roofs, brought down branches and ripped the leaves off of the trees while torrential downpours flooded the streets. Then the hail came, dinging cars, smashing some windows, flattening carports, and piling up to nearly a foot high in some places. Rather than the night before Easter, it looked more like the night before Christmas with the ground covered in white. The good news is that no one was hurt, but Cypress Cove still has a big cleanup on their hands. Reach out to Ted and the gang when you get a moment and show your support. That’s one of the things that we nudists do best!
