Wasaga council OK with three-year trial for clothing optional beach

At its March 15 meeting, Wasaga Beach council’s committee of the whole endorsed a recommendation for a three-year trial, with signs put up to warn others they may encounter people “in a natural state.”

It will still be up to Ontario Parks to give it the OK.

At 520 metres, it’s about 100 metres longer than Toronto’s Hanlon’s Point, the only ‘official’ clothing-optional area in the province, said John Cropper, one of the co-founders of Wasaga Bares.
