PLANS for the French capital’s first nudist park are well underway.
FRANCE is known as one of the world’s top nudist destinations, but before now, opportunities to frolic around Paris in your birthday suit have been limited.
France was the first country to open a naturist resort in Europe in 1950, but in many areas of the country, French law applies – nudists face a 15,000 euros (£13,000) fine or the prospect of one year in prison for baring all in public.
But now, Paris City Council has thrown its weight behind the plans, and was due to vote on the issue today.
Deputy mayor Bruno Julliard told BFM TV: “I’m for it and I believe the mayor of Paris is too. So we’re going to do it.
