Channel 5 chat show host bared all as the panel debated whether Britain should follow Paris and introduce nudist parks in our towns
One in 20 Britons are practising nudists, but there are just 35 beaches in the UK for people to strip freely in public.
Now, as the deputy mayor of Paris Bruno Julliard unveils plans to introduce a naked park to the French capital, Channel 5’s Matthew Wright debated the issue on his chat show The Wright Stuff to ask if we should follow suit.
Vienna, Barcelona and Munich already cater for their nudist communities with the Austrian capital having several pop-up spots along the river Danube to cater for their clothes-shy residents.
Barcelona similarly have parks dedicated to naturists while Munich has a whopping six naked urban areas in the city.
London, too, has a naked restaurant, a naked nightclub and even a naked terrace but naked areas elsewhere in Britain are few and far in between.
