Can we be considered Naturists if we are not naked 24/7?

I was not as fortunate this year to be as naked as I would have liked during my summer vacation this year. Yes, I was able to be naked in our Motel room but as there were other guests this year I could not take advantage of skinny dipping in the pool.

Visiting friends and family was not an option either. Yes, many of them know I am a naturist and even though our friends that we were staying with in Montreal said they didn’t mind, I thought better of it and not make them or my husband uncomfortable. I had to respect their home and for letting us stay with them.

With all of that, if I am not naked 24/7 and with other like-minded people socializing naked can I still call myself a naturist? I often dream of a world where everyone is going about their business naked and free with no judgment. Going to work naked, taking a walk in the city naked (well, it is a dream).
