The bumpy, gravel road whips up dust every time cars drive down. Homeowners – and the local naturist club – are not happy.
A decision by council to stick with the status quo regarding a dusty residential road has been labelled a “snub” by one ratepayer.
Arthur Eagle, president of the Taranaki Naturists Club, said the New Plymouth District Council (NPDC) has known about the problem an unsealed part of Brown Rd, near Waitara, has posed to residents for 20 years and its lack of action was disappointing.
“It’s a bit of a snub to all the ratepaying members,” Eagle said.
