COUNCIL chiefs have blocked a move to turn a Scottish seaside town into a naturist resort amid fears over health and safety.
Argyll and Bute Council has refused an approach from British Naturism (BN) to use Dunoon’s swimming pool when 120 of their members descend on the town later this month.
The bid was led by local resident Ivan Gill, a BN committee member, who has already put together an array of entertainment for the town’s second clothes-optional weekend.
