IT is 38 years to the day that Britainâs first nudist beach was opened despite fierce opposition.
The small pebbled coastal stretch in Brighton was designated the UK’s first public naturist beach on August 9, 1979.
This comes as a nudist revealed why he strips off with others.
And almost four decades later, snaps from the first day Black Rock beach opened to the nude public have resurfaced.
